Do you have any advice for why my car doesn’t want to start after driving it? I have this same motor, I used your video to help swap out the two coolant sensors. I’ve also changed plugs wires cap and rotor. The temps are always between 185 and 195. I’m sure the thermostat was changed before I took possession of the car because there was an old thermostat in the glovebox. Batteries fully charged on a trickle charger. I’ve checked fuel pressure which reads 42, after ten minutes that reading drops to 32. After this video I plan to look into changing out hoses.

Nice job. I recently replaced the 3/16 tube from the front to rear on a 2001 Dakota. I bought copper nickel from a local parts store, tube nuts, and brake guard. I bent and flared the tubing, then snaked it through the original path and clipped it in. That was in Rockland county, NY.

I'm not sure there are any more new GM switches available. I believe you replaced GM#15883323 and I have been unable to locate any site where it didn't say "discontinued".

I just subscribed. I’m enjoying your Maverick content. I think with the oil change interval, I plan to just do it every 5,000 miles regardless of what the indicator on the truck shows. I have the gas turbo model and I believe the engine oil is also used to keep the turbo cool and lubricated. So I think changing the oil more regularly is important for that reason as well. Thanks for the video!

😂 Love the hack! Only thing I found to seal it all back up... Quick set gorilla crazy glue the gel type works better then the tape. Besides that what a wonderful way to save money and do it your self project. I give this video Ten Thumbs Up 😎 👍.

This just happened with my 2007 trailblazer. A/C stopped blowing. I messed with the harness and sure enough, the fan came back on. Zip tied it, good to go. However, I see and smell burnt plastic on one of the wires, so I'll replace the harness just to be on the safe side. Thank you so much for making this video!

Great video!! 2003 Chevy avalanche 1500 here. Similar symptoms. Here in AZ (temps over 100degrees) is when I get extended cranks inconsistently. When it’s cold or sitting for a long time; no issues catching fast. Really gets extra cranky when driven at over 100, parked for an hour mid day then I attempt to start. Check engine light pulls two codes for Evaporative Solenoid canister … might assist you. I’m leaning with you into leaky fuel injection issue.

I don't think this is for 07, just 99-06. The 07 has that straight connect that you put on .if I get it off , I'll send the dimensions for the disconnect tool

My TJ has same issue it has about 20000 miles on it

I'll be replacing my 10-30 with some 15-40 because it is a bit thicker and will protect better if the oil pressure is actually dropping (not just indicated by the gauge). Yes, add the Lucas too! And a new filter is always wise (I go Mobil 1 usually)

Thank you so much. I replaced this sensor on my Tahoe when I did the knock sensors. Been racking my brain ever since. Gonna go dig out the old one. There’s a replacement AC delco 621-61211 but it’s $70. Hope it does the trick thanks again.

It’s significantly cheaper because it’s made in China buddy, who cares. Being made in China is not a downside.

I have a 05 avalanche but just has the top plastic. No plastic at the bottom. Mine is faded bad. Had this truck for 2 years now. Used meguiars ultimate black last year and a few months it was faded again. Want to try this and hope it works soon this summer!!

I'm having the issue where the ecmb10 fuse keeps blowing put in a new oil pressure switch and it was ok for a moment. Blew the fuse again. I'll follow the steps in this video

Ans you won't hear a knocking noise if you not getting oil at the top of the head.you have no clue what your talking about

Low oil pressure is a sign of a spun bearing.i just replaced them and back to normal pressure at normal optimum temperature
